Our services
Takwitek provides business systems, managed device and endpoint security, and business automation and AI services. The exact scope of any engagement is set out in the quote or agreement we provide to you before work begins.
Quotes and pricing
Quotes are based on the information you give us and are valid for the period stated on the quote. Prices are in Kenya Shillings and exclude any applicable taxes unless stated. If the scope changes, we will agree any change in price with you before proceeding.
Engagement and payment
Work begins once a quote is accepted and any agreed deposit is received. Payment terms are set out in your quote or invoice. Ongoing management or support services are billed as agreed, typically monthly.
Your responsibilities
To deliver well, we rely on you to provide timely access, accurate information, and reasonable cooperation — including access to systems and a point of contact who can make decisions. Delays caused by these may affect timelines and cost.
Third-party platforms
Our services often involve configuring and managing third-party software and platforms. Those platforms are provided by their owners under their own terms, and their availability, features and any licence or subscription fees are outside our control. Where a platform requires its own licence or subscription, that cost is separate from our fees unless we state otherwise.
Intellectual property
Any custom configuration, automation or materials we create specifically for you become yours once paid for in full. Our own underlying methods, tools and know-how remain ours. The content and design of this website remain the property of Takwitek.
Confidentiality
We treat your business information as confidential and use it only to deliver your services. We expect the same respect for any confidential information we share with you.
Warranties and disclaimers
We provide our services with reasonable skill and care. Beyond that, our website and any general information on it are provided “as is” without further warranty. We do not guarantee that third-party platforms will be free of faults or interruptions.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Takwitek is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability for any claim arising from an engagement is limited to the fees you paid us for the service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Term and termination
Either party may end an ongoing service by giving the notice set out in the relevant agreement. Fees for work already done or the current billing period remain payable. On termination, we will hand over what you own and remove our access as appropriate.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Kenyan courts. We will always try to resolve any issue with you directly and fairly first.

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its effective date.
